The VONDO method · Web, iPhone, Android
Learn a method
for your money.
Then live in it.
Vondo is a personal budgeting app built on the VONDO method, five moves you repeat: View, Organize, Notice, Direct, Outlast. The app is built to be where you run them. It starts with one habit: at the start of the month you assign every dollar you have, on purpose, until nothing is left over. Debt, savings, the trip you keep postponing. It all stops being a hope and starts being a line you funded.

The VONDO method
Five moves, always the same order: View, Organize, Notice, Direct, Outlast. The app does the arithmetic, the reminders, and the running totals. You make the calls.

Once the loop is routine
The five moves carry a whole budget on their own. When you want more, these guides cover the parts you grow into: cards, debt, shared budgets, reports.
Written guides · Twelve more
This is what changes.
Control
You know the number in your account, and why it is that number.
Clarity
Debt has a payoff date instead of a vague dread.
Confidence
A surprise bill is annoying, not a crisis.
Calm
You spend on what you chose, without the guilt afterward.
Everything it does, in one list
No tiers, no add-ons, no upsell. Every account gets all of it, on web, iPhone, and Android.

Before you ask
Can my partner use the same budget?
Yes. A budget belongs to a household, not one person. You create it as the owner and invite the others by email, and everyone works in the same budget and sees the same numbers. Sharing costs nothing extra.
I have tried budgeting apps and quit. Why is this different?
Most apps show you charts of money you already spent, which is a report card, not a decision. Vondo asks for one decision a month and then keeps score against it. When you overspend, you move money instead of failing, so there is no moment where the plan collapses and you walk away.
Do I have to type in every purchase?
Yes, every purchase is entered by hand. Saved payees, splits, and recurring transactions cover most of it, and there is a home-screen shortcut for adding one fast. Vondo does not connect to your bank, which is also why it works in any country and any currency, and why there are no banking credentials to lose.
What happens when the 45 days end?
Nothing gets deleted. Vondo goes read-only on every device, so you can still open it, read every transaction, and check balances. You cannot add or edit until you subscribe, and when you do, everything picks up where you left off.
Start with the money you already have.
Forty-five days is a full month of the loop plus a second run at it. Long enough to know whether it works for you, without paying to find out.
