Why this move matters
A single month hides its patterns. You cannot tell a one-off from a habit, or a good month from a lucky one, until you look across several. Reports is where the method stops being about this month and starts being about direction: is spending drifting up, are you actually saving, is a month ahead realistic on what you really earn and spend.
Do it in Vondo
1. Open Reports and pick a range, this month, 3, 6, or 12 months, or this year. The longer the window, the clearer the pattern. Everything below reads off the same range, so you compare like with like.

2. Read Income vs Expenses first. This is the one question under everything else: are you keeping money, and how much. The gap between the two bars each month is what you actually saved.
3. Open Expenses by Category and Top Payees to see where it goes and to whom. This is where a category that quietly grows every month, or a payee you did not realize you leaned on, finally shows itself.
4. Check Net Worth, your assets against your debts, for the long game. As you pay down that car loan, this is the line that rewards you, month after month.
5. Narrow with the account and category filters when you want to study one thing at a time, one card, one loan, one category.
What you should see now
Your real patterns, not your intentions. Use them to set better targets, to judge whether the buffer from Outlast is within reach, and to catch the slow creep before it becomes a surprise.
