Why this move matters
A budget shows where you shop, what you earn, and who you pay. That is worth protecting like a bank login. Two-factor authentication means that even if someone learns your password, they still cannot get in without the code from your phone. It is the single biggest upgrade you can make to your account’s safety, and it takes about two minutes.
Do it in Vondo
1. Set or change your password. In your Profile, open Security and choose Change Password. A password has to exist before you can turn on two-factor.
2. Turn on two-factor authentication. Choose Enable, scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, then enter the 6-digit code it shows to confirm.
3. Save your backup codes. Vondo gives you a set of one-time codes; keep them somewhere safe. Each one signs you in once if you ever lose your phone.
4. Manage trusted devices. A device you trust skips the code on later sign-ins until it expires. On the same Security screen you can review your trusted devices and active sessions, and revoke or sign out anything you do not recognize.
What you should see now
A password you chose, two-factor on with backup codes saved, and a short list of devices you actually recognize. Your budget is now as protected as your email.
