Every month starts here. You look at the money you actually have right now, not what you are owed and not what you are hoping for. That real total is the number you steer with, and nothing else in the method works until it is honest.
Organize: give every dollar a purpose
Then you send each dollar somewhere on purpose. Rent, groceries, savings, debt, the fun stuff, until nothing is left unassigned. This is the heart of the method: a plan you wrote for the money you have, not a guess about the money you might get. Targets and one-tap fill do the arithmetic, so a full plan takes minutes.
Notice: log as you spend
